Eating for Others: Brother Dan’s Food Pantry at Roast & Toast

20% of all Roast & Toast proceeds on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, will be donated to Brother Dan’s Food Pantry. This is the third in a series of three Eating for Others events sponsored by Wineguys Restaurant Group.

Organization: Brother Dan’s Food Pantry
Established in 2003 in honor Franciscan Brother Dan Badsing, the food pantry is a nondenominational outreach ministry of the St. Francis Xavier Parish community serving Emmet County and surrounding communities. The pantry is staffed 100% by community volunteers and serves an average of 500 – 600 families every two weeks. According to the website. “We don’t simply provide food, we provide wholesome meals that lend dignity to a family’s experience.” Ongoing for many years, Roast & Toast donates two stockpots of soup to the pantry each week.
