Food Truck Friday: We’re Heading Outside
City Park Grill is taking dinner to the street, outside at sister restaurant Palette Bistro, with Food Truck Friday. With sunshine and long-overdue warm temperatures, “It’s the perfect way to bring in spring,” explains Bob Keedy, Wineguys Restaurant Group partner. “And, we love showing off our catering truck.”
PICK-UP and CURBSIDE DELIVERY will be available beginning at 4pm to welcome this first day of May. Order online or by calling 231.347.0101.
Following the monsoon-like rains on Wednesday, 4/29, and Thursday, 4/30, City Park Grill experienced a power surge, effecting the restaurant’s electrical breaker and shutting down power throughout the entire building. “Moving outside and utilizing our other restaurant resources keeps employees working and guests happy,” Keedy adds. “Luckily, the weather is cooperating today so that we can enjoy the warmer temps and serve great Friday dinners.”
According to Petoskey News Review, “Data provided by the National Weather Service showed wind gusts around 40 mph for much of the afternoon at the Pellston Regional Airport weather station, and many locations around Emmet and Charlevoix counties receiving around two inches, or more, of rainfall Wednesday,” with record rainfall on Thursday as well.
