Local Bistro Receives Statewide Recognition: Top 9 Among Best Small-town Restaurants
June 2019 | PETOSKEY, MICHIGAN — Palette Bistro of Petoskey was proud to learn of their “Top 9 Best Small-town Restaurants in Michigan” ranking.
The Top 9 recognition comes from Only In Your State (OIYS), a digital magazine that features great finds throughout the United States. Sophie Boudreau of OIYS describes her experience at Palette: “When you’re in the mood for a fine Mediterranean meal among stylish surroundings, look no further than Palette Bistro in Petoskey. You might just spot a sunset over Little Traverse Bay as you settle in with a glass of wine, order of root vegetable risotto or beef tenderloin plate. This locale perfectly combines elegance with comfort and service.”
Serving Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, Palette Bistro offers casual upscale indoor and outdoor lunch and dinner, plus weekend brunch. “We are excited to be recognized,” explains General Manager Shawn Peterson. “Our menu offerings incorporate local produce, meats, and fish whenever possible. And, our entire staff takes pride in providing a seamless dining experience – from our creative menu to our inviting atmosphere, from our extensive wine and beer collection to our cocktail specialties.”
Petoskey is quickly becoming a culinary hotspot in Michigan. Coincidentally, Palette’s sister restaurant City Park Grill recently received a “Best Petoskey Restaurant” award by MyNorth readers. Both owned by Wineguys Restaurant Group, partner Bob Keedy explains, “Recognition like this is good for our restaurants, and good for the entire Petoskey restaurant community.”
