EMMET COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU)– Residents of northern Michigan could often take for granted the fact that they live in a popular travel destination.
So why not take some time to enjoy the place that people flock to all summer long, with a staycation?
Local businesses in Petoskey are making staycations that much more enticing by offering special deals and promotions at area restaurants and hotels this spring.
If you’re not able to getaway for spring break, then check out Stafford’s Perry Hotel for a lodging option like no other.
From March 22 through April 2, people can book a Staycation Package at the historic hotel that includes one night of lodging for $99 with breakfast and a goodie bag included.
The package also offers $20 Dining Dollars and $25 in Downtown Dollars to jump start guests shopping and dining experiences.
Area restaurants are also getting involved, like Roast & Toast. The popular Petoskey cafe is offering a free kids meal with the purchase of two entrees.
Roast & Toast isn’t the only restaurant, City Park Grill is offering two free kids meals or one free dessert to share with the purchase of two entrees. Additionally, at Palette Bistro, you can receive $7 off Taste of Palette or free dessert during lunch with purchase of a lunch entree.
